What number Lyman top punches do the EPP-UG and DD-ROA 210 use to push them through the Lubri-sizer press?

I use a punch that I chucked in a poormans lathe, drill motor, and filed it flat ,works for about 80% of the bullets I lubesize.     Adios  Sgt. Jake

If you feel you need a custom fit, you could get a punch you know is too big at the nose, mix up some epoxy and dab some in the cavity, cover with a piece of wax paper and clamp a good looking bullet in there until the epoxy hardens. Remove bullet and you will have a perfect top punch.

I lubersize the EPP-UG boolits on a Saeco and got a punch for it that had a large flat point to it and did what I described and it works very well.

I am a huge fan of J-B Weld, but I don't work for the company. I also can't live without duct tape, annealed wire and bubble gum.

Ok, let's make this simple.  Which Lyman top punch works for flat point .45 caliber boolits????  All I need is a top punch number that works.

From memory, it's a Lyman #460 top punch that I use.  You can do most Big Lube™ lube/sizing on a Lyman press with a simple flat top punch.  Just make sure to start the bullets straight.

Thanks! I have the equipment on order, and I'll let you know how it goes.  Maybe I'll even do a torture test with EPP-UGs in my Henry using annealed cases (regular cases did not do well...)
