Wow! Another work of art by Chuck.
I have a holster, tack belt, beaded botas, and a stunning beaded belt pouch from Chuck. When I determined the items that I want to stay in the family as heirlooms, these items along with my Shiloh Sharps are right at the top of the list.
Of course my family thinks I should have one of Chuck's knifes to pass on also. I agree.

Well, you did it again, Chuck. That's really beautiful. The leather on the knife handle is a nice touch. Of course, the beadwork is impressive, as always. Thanks for sharing the finished project with us.

CB,
What a Super Job, a very early period peice of the 1800's or late 1700's , looks kinda like a Early Buffalo Hunter, who got a long with the Indians in his area and he traded them something for it. Now that is only my interpation of what I see when I look at it! Everyone will have there own!

I am very great full for you sharing that with all of us to see and learn!

Howdy Chuck,

Another great work of art from your workshop! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Fantastic! I already have your DVD on making holsters. How about a DVD on knife making or metal finishing? I'd buy them both, JD

Chuck, I can only echo what the others have said about your work of art....
I noticed, or am I missing it...that you don't use a retaining strap on this sheath.
I'm in the process of making one for a 8" Bowie blade, and another good leather pounding buddy of mine suggested that no strap is needed since the wt. of the knife will keep it in place in the sheath.
What's your opinion on this?
