I would like to find some fellards, that live in my area, that has a place we can put on a small long range field for just a few shooters that what to get toghter 1 time a month to shoot, and talk shop.We can shoot on my club range but we only have 100yards. if anyone might be interested, i would like to hear from you.

There is an NCOWS group that shoots up in Garnett, and they have a good set up for long range.  They don't normally do it in Garnett, though.  They have an annual "Buffalo Shoot" that they hold over in Lebo Kansas (up near the US75/I-35 junction, aka "BEDO Junction").  Contact Grizzle Bear or Trap, on either BROW or the NCOWS or Kansas boards.  Don't know of anyone that does strictly long-range single-shots, at least not nearby.

Guns, How you been? I sure wished I could of shoot with you guys, I can stand up less now than I could last year. I wish some one around coffey town or Indy, or somewhere in between.  I don't think i will ever get to shoot any cowboy shooting, but I keep hopeing. I can't believe they can't make something that a person could give him self a shot in the low back area that would allow a person 3-4 hours of life once in a while!
it isn't any fun shooting buy your self when you spend everyday by your self. I know there are people like that, but I have allways been a people person! maybe someday when it warms up a little, I could come over and we could have some coffee, or arrange somewhere to have breafeast.

Where is Humansvillie Mo. from Joplin? I am hopeing buy late spring I will have all my long range guns domne, 2 of them are ready they are cheap Sharps, my other is one that i am building and it is a #1 Rolling Block with a 1 1/4" strait round 34" barrel. I can't Cowboy shoot, so i had to find something I can do, I hope that I can shoot of sticks?

if your that far north of joplin you could take 54 hy east through eldroda springs east to collins im 17 miles south of collins
