Sir Charles deMouton-Black

St Barbara's day was yesterday 4 December.

She is the Patron Saint of Gunners, Blacksmiths, and explosives workers.  I take it that it might include a few soot lords?

I am attending a formal dinner at the local reserve artillery officers mess tomorrow night.   What fun trying to gather up the bits and pieces of my mess dress.  I managed to find a pair of box spurs, but they were a mis-match.  I wonder if my son has another mis-matched set in the UK?

BTW;  The trousers i had made when I was 21 don't fit, but the replacements I got when I was a major fit just fine!
