For the Munchkins!

In light of the recent unpleasantness and broohaha, I’d like to propose a positive action and turn a page.  I do this for the munchkins and am in no way, shape or form affiliated with the Wild Bunch, the SASS Scholarship Foundation, or SASS, Inc., other than as a dues paying member.

ANNOUNCING THE FIRST ANNUAL JLK&FTM SASS SCHOLARSHIP DONATION DRIVE!!!

All a person needs to do is get out 12 envelopes and 12 stamps. Write 12 checks to the SASS Scholarship Foundation for the amount of $1.00. In the bottom left hand corner, where it says "For", write in JLK&FTM, and then sign your name. Once a month, as you are paying your other bills, drop one of the checks in the mail to:

Added: I was asked on the SASS Wire what JLK&FTM means:
Justice Lily Kate & For The Munchkins.

After all the work she did for the Scholarship Foundation, I think she deserves some credit, regardless the recent troubles.

No, I didn't ask her about it before posting. This was entirely my idea, as a hope for bringing something positive out of all this.

I regret to inform you that while it supports this endeavor in principle, the Lollipop Guild must ask you to cease and desist from using the term "munchkin" in your scholarship drive. The Lollipop Guild has taken great care to preserve the term "munchkin" as a trademark and fear that by allowing you use this term it would weaken their claim and thereby allow wanton misuse of said term.
We are sorry that we must enforce our trade dress in this manner. We hope you understand. As a way of showing our support we will be forwarding two lollipops under seperate cover at a later date.
