Starting on a long term project, have a question

Good Morning Pards,
I am starting on a new project and need some advice? I guess I am going to build a custom Single Shot, and wanted to ask if there was any difference between the Remington Rolling Block Action and the Swedish Version other than the looks on the left side? i have a chance to buy either one, the Swede action looks to be in better shape on the out side, and the Hammer on the remington doesn't have the knurling foryour thumb (most likely worn off,) where the Swede does? Was also wondering will the thread be the same wear the barrel goes on! I will have a gun smith put the barrel on and do the head spacing, my concers would the swede have metric threads causing him trouble?

I would be great full for any advice!

I have thought of building a rolling block myself. I never gave it a thought about the threads. Any good machinest should be able to handle the job.
