19 grains of what? Can you be more specific? I find 12-15 grains of Pyrodex FFFG in my 1851 Navy and 15-20 grains of the same in my 1860 Army is the best.

What if I were to become a gun runner.  Only this time, I'd haul powder???  How far do you think I'd get hauling Holy Black to my customers in the Far West???

The revolver was a gift and now has sentimental value.  I'd been shooting light loads (15 gr) until I got caught up in all this talk of smoke/boom/clang  .  What was I thinkin'?

What's funny is Black powder is not illegal here. You just can't buy it anywhere. They have made it so hard to sell guns, bullets, powder .......... here, that no one sells it. As I have said, in the past, I can order 25 Lbs from TotW but that's more than I need or want to have on hand. I have offered to "host" a group purchase where I would put up all the money, up front, and people would pay me when they picked up their powder. I even offered to cover all the shipping and handling costs myself.  But, I've yet to find any takers in Nor Cal.

I'll be asking around at our next event, later this month.
