As ong as we're taliking meander stamps, there's one I made a while back that's a double meander. I haven't found the right place to use it, but that will happen. The size is a little over 3/8" so the finished meander is about 1/2" wide. I also made a bigger one. That one may take a saddle to have a good place to use it. I banged this out on a scrap this morning and scanned it in. The transition needs some thought yet.

In geography, a meander is a section of a stream or river where it makes loops, rather than having a nearly straight channel.  Many curved lakes near larger rivers are former meanders which have been cut off when the river cuts through the narrow strip of land and straightens it course.

looks likes you got the text book answer for what meander means.

now i am going to give you my basic leatherworking answer.
Meander====the tool that you wanted help on how to use.
alot of leatherworkers call this stamp a meander stamp.

hope that helps you understand the basic leatherworking(may even be redneck)answer to your question on what meander means ;D
