Does any one know any thing about this pistol ? and how good are they, when were they made, thanks

Irish Dave

I've had a couple over the years. In fact the '73 carbine I'm using now is an American Arms import.

* Uberti made. Standard Uberti quality.
* Imported by American Arms in Kansas City (IIRC). I believe they stopped importation 3-4 years ago.
* Year of manufacture can be determined by the two-letter date code stamped inside a box somewhere on the pistol. (ie: BC, AE, BU, etc.)

Hope this helps.

I see thats its stamped .BF. any info on that stamp ?

The Italian "BF" proof mark indicates the year of manufacture (or proofing?). I know that "BN" indicates the year 2000, so it would seem that "BF" would be sometime in the '90s.
