Ok, so I shoot 44 colts in my RM conversions, 44-40 in my 92 rifle, and 12 Gauge stoger SxS.
Maybe not boss Hoss sized Warthogin' but i saw flames and the spotters had to stand waaaay to the sides!
And shooting FFg Goex in the rounds.

Shot gun targets... well I think I hit em, they said I did...
Some targets actually disappeared in the smoke!
I actually saw some flames at the end of the barrels!
Distraction of watching smoke curling out of spent cases, the exclamation of "hot, hot, hot" when the cases were picked up...
"Hot, hot, hot" barrels...

All of this cleaned up with a few spritzes and a bit of soaking while standing at the back of my vehicle!
All fire arms went all 5 stages with out sticking, gumming, or going out of kilter in any way.
Yeah I credit that to the stuff I have learned here, and a healthy grease ring on the 44 MAV Dutchmans.

Just like all ya'll said it would!
It was my first match proud and nervous to say "Frontier cartridge - Duelist!"  when I signed in.
Oh yeah baby there is no going back now!

All the Black powder people stand around and have big stupid grins on our faces at each other, the smokeless people look at us like we are nutz.

**SNORT, SNORT**  I stunk purty afterwards too!

Speakin' of which.  Here are a couple of videos shot at Ripon, WI on Sat.  One is of your humble correspondent (The one screaming "hot, hot, hot" as his SxS turned red!) shooting .44 Russians in an Open Top and brass 12 gauge shells out of a Husqvarna Model 51 SxS.   ;D Other shooter - I did not know his alias, so just named the file "The Kid" - was shooting a 2nd Model Dragoon  :o and a 97.
