Starr Revolver Trigger Spring

 I am working on a friend's Dixie Gun Works Starr for him. The trigger return spring does not seem to contact the trigger as it should. I have tried bending it a touch to see if that helps, but no it doesn't. I am wondering if the spring is long enough to contact the trigger as it was shipped. It is brand new from Dixie. Any suggestions would help. Maybe I just need to order a new spring.

IMOHO..

Iffn its a brand new gun I would not even bother `tinkering` with it, contact DGW and I`m sure they will send a new spring FOC.
