Anyone else hate Interarms Rossi 92 rear sight?

It cannot be replaced easily because it has a metric dovetail, and it is as sharp as a chisle.   I ground the sides narrow and added a Winchester jam leaf for a 9422.   Much classier and only costs 1.50 for the leaf.. . and the same for each screw!

There are replacements available for a fairly reasonable price; my best friend got me one, a full buckhorn, made for the Rossi dovetail, but I don't remember where he got it; it was most certainly from one of the "big dog" parts outfits, though - Brownell's, Dixie, Midway.  O'course, the price was just right, for me, that is.

Howdy Ace, I liked my Rossi but that rear sight cost me a lot of blood from the start; a smith at the Range War here in Mich a couple years ago sold me a buckhorn very reasonably and installed it for a mere ten bucks during a break in the match; loved it ever since.  Looks a whole lot better too.  I retired my Marlin.
