2nd Edition "Gunsmithing Guns of the Old West by Chicione arrived today,

I eagerly opened it expecting it to be the answer to all my CAS gun-tinkerin  

  What a TOTAL LET-DOWN!!!   

There is virtually NO   tips on tuning!!  I was expecting.... Gunsmithing  What there was, was covered between pages 54-200!!   pages 200-446 was like Numrichs catalogue

I feel that you will get better mileage keeping your copies of the CC as Pettifoggers series on Tuning yer smokepoles is `Head `n` shoulders above this book

Thanks fer the tip, I was considering ordering that one after seeing an ad in Guns of the Old West Magazine.  Don't know if ya can get that one across the pond but it's good for a monthly.
