Howdy Pards :)
Before I found you Pards, I had bought a newHunter Buscodero Belt, then i got into my lifes passion Leather working, and I no longer need that belt. So I made a pair of hosters and used my baking soda dye! Then when I went to put the rig together it clashes bad, the belt is a light tan brown.
I want to ask has ayon evr tred to redye a factory beltor holster?
Any advie would deeply be appreciated!

Fiebings makes a deglazer and dye remover.  I've used it on boots that I wanted to change the color on and it worked pretty good.  Your local Tandy should have it.

FWIW - That deglazer is basically denatured alcohol which you can get at any paint supply/hardware store much cheaper.

as for over dying commercial leather - I've done plenty of it.
1) Remove any finish and clean well - denatured alcohol followed by a good wash with Murphy's Oil Soap will do it in all but the most extreme cases
2) Re-dye just like you would dye any plain piece of leather - "natural" dyes may not be the best in this situation, depends on the item and it's condition
3) Let dry and buff well
4) Re-condition i.e. Lexol, Netas foot, or whatever your favorite is
5) Top coat if desired, i.e. Tan Kote, Bag Kote, resolene, etc.
