My second love, after old Westerns, is Star Trek.  I've been a Trek fan since the first series came out.  I usually attend Trek conventions when they come along and I've met Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek, and his wife, Majel Barrett who played Nurse Chapel on the original series and I've also met and had coffee with George Takei..Mr. Sulu and Jimmy Doohan...Engineer Scottie.  I'm a Seience Fiction nut and Star Trek is, by far, the best Sci-Fi show that ever came out.

My fovorite comic line from Star Trek (and it didn't come from any of the shows)  was Captain Kirk saying:  "Very funny, Mister Scott...now beam down my clothes!"  The other funny one was Doctor McCoy saying:  "He's dead, Jim!  You grab his wallet and I'll grab his Tricorder."

Willie Wheelgun

I know very little about Star Trek, but I did buy a horse from one of the developers of the cartoon series.  No, the horse was not in the cartoon, them funny lookin folk apparently were.  I never saw one of the programs, I was busy ridin the horse.

Majel Barret had the distinction of being the only person to be on all the Star Trek series from the original to Deep Space Nine.
