Well, I guess it is time.  Having one remmie might be chance, having two remmies might be a coincidence, but three!  Well it's time to admit I like 'em and jine up, if you'll have me.  Got 2 NMA's, one with a Kirst and the other is the stainless target version (didn't plan on that one - just couldn't say no to a bargain!).  The third is a '90 in 44-40 and I've got my eye on a '75 in 44-40, but that will have to wait for a bit more "discretionary" cash. (44-40 matches my winnie '73 musket.)  And yes Holy Black all the way!

Some ranges, most notably INDOORS ranges, can't handle the required air filtration produced by BP (or subs).  Some are afraid of fire.  There have been instances where sparks from BP have set extremely dry leaves and grass on fire.  I once took a slow-speed photo in a darkened area of my best friend shooting my 1860 Army.  We were AMAZED at the amount of fire and sparks - some of which actually bounced when they hit the ground - nearly 6-9 feet in front of the gun! 

Have fun!  (And just because Uberti calls their replica "Outlaw" doesn't mean we have to.  It sorta "undignifies" a great gun, IMHO.  )  With apologies to any of my friends who may actually portray "outlaws."   

I plan to get an 1858 Reminton soon. I also want to get a drop-in cylinder. I figure this should enable me to shoot low-pressure smokeless loads at indoor ranges (I have a hard time getting out into the country to practice).

Do you think this is a good idea?
