Hi All
I've been having trouble getting consistent 25' groups out of my Uberti NMR (44R).  Does anyone have a favorite 44R load that they recommend? Or processes for building one?

By grouping, I'm running accuracy tests off of a sandbag to limit variation. There's more than one reason that I use the moniker 'Beadswinger'.

I've been using Trail Boss, .429 FNR's that weigh in around 210 gr. Ideas and suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Beadswinger.

I use a 200gr RNFP bullet over W231 powder and have had good results. Can't advise about Trail Boss since I've never used it.

I shoot a 210 (?) grain Big Lube  .429 over a full case of ffg same boolets for my  44r.,    .44-40 russians    to shoot high from my 5 1/2 barrels OT and 6" genuine/imatation Smith, and dead on from the .44-40 Henrys

Pony Racer

I shoot 205 grain Parson Pills with his BP lube.  I use 1.3cc of 3f or 2f.

I have not shot them from a rest at paper - but put mid target at CAS ranges and targets and I get a ding every time!!

Ltl Rooster - I'll give you 50 of the 205's and see how they work for you...

Grapeshot

When I had a Navy Arms #3 New Model Russian, I found it shot best with a Lyman 240grain RN on top of 5 grains of Unique.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.
