I have been in contact with Deputy Cuny, Hell on Wheels match director, regarding the color guard for the opening ceremonies.  We are going to meet at the main tent at 0700 on Friday and be prepared to present the colors at 0730.  It looks like there will be personnel from the Wyoming National Guard as well as ourselves participating.  Wretched Excess, who would normally coordinate this activity has recently undergone surgury and is likely on sick call at this time.  The match organization will be providing flags and standards.  I will bring four white web flag carrying harnesses, and an extra saber and Spencer carbine, if any of our troops are short of necessary equipment.  Of course we will all be in uniform and (hopefully) in step for the presentation.  Please bring either a saber or military type rifle (Springfield, Sharps, Spencer, etc.)  Following is the participation information as far as I have been informed...

Joe Dirt
Dusty Tagalon
Captain Bob Masterson
Terry Lane (will you be bringing flags in case HOW doesn't have them?)
Mescalero
Sagebrush Burns
Major Matt Lewis - questionable, not confirmed
Mud Marine - questionable, not confirmed
Mustang Greg - unable to attend
Trailrider - unable to attend

If you are aware of any additional personnel interested in participating, please let me know.

many thanks for your assistance and participation,

I'll be heading for Cheyenne tomorrow.  Will be at the range most of the afternoon.  Getting together with Deputy Cuny to coordinate our activities for Friday morning.  Once again, we are meeting at 0700 at the main tent and planning to present the colors at 0730.
