Now I understand Ruger made 7 shot ?

I've seen 5 shot on GB anyone know of the 7 shot ?
and does anyone have any SP101 or a 3" GP100  in 357 to sell ?

I should add this is to be primarly an on board boat gun so SS is perfered

Ruger doesnt make an SP101 in a 7 shot.   The .357 is a 5 shot and the .327is a 6 shot.   The only benefit I can see to the .327 is the extra round capacity.  I would much rather have 5 .357 rounds.   I have never heard of the "rumored" 7 shot capacity of a .357.   I really cant see how they could make it with  the SP101 frame.

I have discovered the Ruger 7 shot was a myth, seems S&W does make 7 shot though.
I'll pass on the .327 the whole idea is to have a readly available cartridge
.357 or in a pinch 38 Spc. is the choice.
I'll opp for the GP 100 I think, in 3".
Both are strong revolvers , I  perfer the longer grip of the GP 100...

I think either the GP or the SP models would do you fine.  I have found that the SP101 is a tough little gun and you can get it in longer barrel lengths.  I am not sure the GP has any benefits over the sp unless as you stated it fits your hands better.
