Two questions;
1:  In what year did Colt introduce the hard rubber "eagle" style grips?
2:  What year did they change from bull's eye ejector to the crescent style?
Need to know if the bull's eye ejector and eagle grips are period correct when found together.  I used to have a comprehensive list that covered all of the changes to the SAA, by date, but I will be darned if I can find it now!
You can't change the wind, but you can always change your sails.

St. George

Eagle Grips were first introduced in January of 1882, and were used until 1896.

Round Ejector Rod Heads were introduced at serial #1 and were used until about serial number 65,000 - in 1882.

Cavalry revolvers used the round head until serial #114,475 - in 1885.
