Buying your Leather

My question is: Where are most of you buying your leather?
Some of you guys live close to a suppler, Tandy or some other place.
What about those of you like me who live out in the sticks?
Do you order it? Do any of you buy off ebay? I am hopeing that I will be in need of leather for making more rigs one of these days!
Also, if you are making a holster and you are going to line, which i line ever one, what oz do you use for your holster and what oz do you use for the lining?
A month ago or so, i bought some 9oz veg tanned already dyed leather for a rig for me, and I bought 4oz veg tanned for the lining for it, does that sound about right?

I will be very great full for any and all advice and help (I got my FIRST ORDER for a full rig and want to do a knock out job)
It's for a good friend of mine's wife, so I am not charging any labor, because of friends and they will be going to a lot of shoots, so i want to do a killer rig with a lot bling and nive stamping so people will ask her where she got it and maybe I can get a few orders, i dony want to do a lot, just enough to pay for my shooting and adding tools.
