My own family had a few rifts that got healed, so I know where yer comin' from. Afore he died, my oldest brother, Ron, made amends with everybody. My 2nd oldest disappeared 40 years ago, was found and contacted by the State Dept at our request when Ron was dying, and refused to talk to us so forget him. But the joy that my mom knew the last few years of Ron's life, nobody can take from her. Congrats. Family isn't just everything, it's the only thing.
