I spoke with Hap today, and we've received a shipment of carrier blanks, and the process of getting em made into Cowboy .45 Special Carriers has begun.  They will be shipped in small batches over the next few weeks as each is machined, assembled and inspected.  I'm told to expect the next handful within two weeks, and will notify those on the list in the order their reservations have been received.

The main thing is we got blanks from Italy (no longer sitting in a container at the port), and the rest of the process is within sight.

Hap also relates that one prototype tester has put some more rounds through his rifle, I believe it was 50 smokeless and 50 BP with ZERO maintenance.  that fellow is shooting .44 Russian, and relates that he took the cartridge stop out of the Cowboy .45 Special Carrier and filed about .010 off the nose of the stop where it contacts the base of the cartridge, then reinstalled the stop, to allow him to successfully load his bullet of choice crimped in the proper place. No issues, worked like a charm.  This might be something the .44 Russian shooter can keep in mind as the Cowboy .45 Special carrier is designed primarily for use with ammo not to exceed 1.220 or .1225 max. OAL.  If ya need to get to 1.240, that's a viable method
