Howdy!

Going along with my question about front sights, it has been highly suggested I use JB Weld.

Ok, how do I get the epoxy residue out of the hole and off the sight post?  Is there a solvent?  Heat?

Thanks

I've used it several times out here on the farm for repairs,  heat above 600 degrees will do it and grinding or sanding is the only other way.
We done it for Dixie,  nothing else

Kinda Sudden

Try Acetone (auto parts store) They use it to remove dried epoxy and super glue in hospitals. Its nasty stuff that will dissolve most plastics.
