I need to get some parts for my Pietta Remington and need to know the quality and dependability of VTI Parts.
Thanks

VTI is a vendor of parts for Uberti and Pietta.  The parts they sell are either made by Uberti or Pietta, not VTI.  You order parts for a Pietta Remington and you get parts made by Pietta for their Remington.  As for quality and dependability, you gotta remember that these guns are assembled by hand so expect to do some fitting of new parts.  Most parts will not simply drop in.  :)

Btw, the VTI people are great to work with.  Quality and dependability.  They even answer emails, unlike some other gun/parts vendors out there.  ;)

Thank you for your reply.  Yes it would be refreshing to get some of these dealers to answer your email.  I guess they do get a bunch of crap mail though. I am used to fitting parts to work.  I've been building muzzleloaders and knives for years

I ordered parts like last Thursday, and Saturday I had them in my mailbox.  The Bolt Spring went in easy as glass...  Thanks.

I also add my KUDOS to them for their speed, knowledge and user friendliness.

Only time I had a snag was my own fault in providing communication information when I fat fingered an email address.
I followed up on an order they had my information right away, and got me on the right path.

An order of a couple screws as with others was on my doorstep in Illinois with in several days.

If possible they will special order parts from the manufacturers if they do not have them.

It is amazing tht a company providing better pricing also provides such excellent customer service.  The answer emails and will even talk to you in person, both right away.

VTI used to be Uberti USA.  They sold generic Ubertis in this country and of course had a good supply of Uberti parts.  When Beretta bought Uberti, part of the deal was that Uberti USA had to cease to exist.  So they stopped selling guns (generic Ubertis are now sold by Stoeger, also owned by Beretta), changed their name to VTI, and continued selling parts.  As time progressed they expanded into carrying parts for Pietta, Pedersoli, etc.

BTW, they also sell a complete screw kit for the toggle link rifles and a screw kit for the single-actions.  Haven't seen these kits on their website, but they had them at the SASS Convention.

Have used them to literally replace all the internal parts for an old Euroarms Remington and I think that gun ended up working better than when it was new (back in the early 70's  :o), plus I have replaced some of the factory screws with ones made of stainless steel, just to set it apart a bit from the others.

Good company, and when I called with a question about getting the correct parts they were very helpful.
Of all the things I've lost over the years, it's my mind that I miss the most!
