Here's a shot of the newest addition to my Uberti family of 58' Remingtons.

Very nice! :)

I have a Pietta stainless it's my favorite............well...................next to the blued Pietta......................err..............ahh...............next to the in the white Pietta........................ummmm....well.......next to the blued Euroarms

The General

Yes Sir Marshal, I sure do like the stainless revolvers myself... next to my Uberti 1873 SAA blue w/case hardened steel frame I have in 5.5" barrel.  I think that will always be my favorite.  It has the brass trigger guard, brass backstrap & it just feels good in the hand.

Tuolumne Lawman

Very Cool!

My problem is that I can't decide which is my favorite:  My Uberti Remmie NMA 44 with a Kirst Konverter and ejector, or my new Pietta 1860 with the new Kirst Konverter and ejector.  Now I just have to get off my lazy butt and cut the channels in both so I can use the loading gates!  My 56-50 Spencer loves them both equally!

When I cut the channels for the loading gates, it will make capping easier when I shoot percussion.  Does that make me a gamer?

I have a Pietta with the Kirst gated converter. Ya it sure is easier to cap when shooting it with that large cutout. Am I a gamer :D?  Not the way I shoot! :-[

You might be surprised, Sundance.

A substantial number joined the ranks of BP shooters because they realized that they could possibly win these categories, rather than beating the true champs, because it's been long known that most of us BP shooters couldn't care less about competition ...

We're in it for the fun.  And smell.  ;D

EVERY shooter wants to do well, I'll wager, but - in my case - and many of my shooting friends, it is more important to hit targets carefully than to miss fast.
