Uerti 1858 conversion

 Fellow Remington shooters,
I have a Taylors 8'' 45 colt, and a Cimmaron 51/2" 45 colt. The workmanship is super on both revolvers. Since Beretta bought Uberti the quality has steadily gotten better. I see USFC is coming out with an 1858, and I know it will be great, but with the quality of the Uberti, is it worth 3 times the price?

My Uberti's were sighted to point of aim, and are accurate with 6.5 of RED DOT, and 200 to 250 bullet. The action on these pistols is the shortest action I have ever seen on a single action, and they are smooth. Also the cylinder gaps are very tight and the barrel is cut square. I like these pistols. I paid 405.00 for my last one.

Taylors just got their shipment in about a week ago ..I had a Remmie 5 1/2 barrel with casecolor frame ..the price went up from the posted 303.00 to right at 330.00 ..it`s the Euro Dallar thing ..But with what we`ve heard about the possible price of the USFA Remmie ...............I WANT ALL THE UBERIT`S I CAN GET !!!  I HOPE SOMEONE AT USFA IS READING THIS !!!

With Uberti having such a fine replica in the 58' Remington, I find it very difficult for USFA to challenge the market with their version at three times the cost.  It will definitely be interesting to see how the sales go on this venture.

How about some photos Carlos? I have two of the Cimarron 5 1/2" barreled 38s that were shipped right to Nate Kiowa Jones for action work. Can't wait to get 'em. Already have the custom made leather from Paul at Reddog Leather.
