Marshal Rusty Bore

My B-day present was a day late but two R&D conversions where on my door step when I got home today. Now then, they have to be test fired.

Here's my dilema..............................................when I call in to work tomorrow. Will it be the flu or..............................Wait.........................................................smoke inhaltion?

Now I only have to find one for my Euroarms 1858.

Oldelm

Congrats, Marshal!

It'll be smoke inhalation for sure!
When you go back to work, though, try not to have that big grin on yer face.  ;D ;D ;D

Have fun. ;)

The Uberti model conversion cylinder of either Walt kirst or R&D should work fine in the Euroarms. Or I can modify the pistol to fit a Pietta for ya ;)

I regularly use my Uberti Kirst conversion cylinder in my Euro Arms Remmie ...it`s a good fit , locks up tight ..I haven`t tried the Uberti R&D in it ..I will next time I have it out .

Marshal Rusty Bore

Hoof Hearted if I kin cram about 45grs. of black in the Euroarms Cap & Ball cylinder i should be able to fit a pietta cylinder in it just fine...............................................with my one good hand! :o

I was told some time ago by Half Creek Charlie ( I belive) that the uberti would fit the Euroarms.

However I rolled my truck twice on the way to work Friday morning so my gun budget has just taken a large cut! :-[

Oooops! My wife just said " What gun Budget!" :'(

Montana Slim

Marshal........Them rollovers must be lots a fun for ya to try a second time, eh?
(course after she's rolled once, why worry 'bout the dammage)
Inquisitive minds you know....

What is this about your "one" good hand....are you ok?

BTW, it's a good idea not to let the Mrs. read your CAS posts over your shoulder. ;)

Marshal Rusty Bore

No Slim I'm fine, physically speaking ::)!  Just putting 45grs. in a Euro might be a bit much!

To make my weekend more interesting I had some food poisoning on Sunday. Let me tell ya rollin the truck was a lot more enjoyable than that!

Montana Slim

I take it everything worked out in the end.
Glad your'e ok pard  ;)

Tubac

Gents,
I have a replica NMA that I'm thinking about getting a conversion cylinder for.
It's marked DGG Made in Italy. Any guess who the maker is?
Thanks,

Tubac

Marshal Rusty Bore

Tubac, this is from a page about proof marks of Italian replicas. I belive the uberti conversions will fit the Euroarms.

Armi San Paolo S.r.l., established in 1970, uses the last

names of the original founders Grassi, Doninelli, and

Gazzola as a symbol, DGG, usually contained within a

circle. Beginning December 31, 2001, Armi San Paolo

officially became Euroarms Italia S.r.l. The same logo is

used on all Euroarms models.

Steel Horse Bailey

Howdy!

Tubac, what do the proof marks look like?  I don't know many, but there are pards here who can identify the marks pretty well.  Try to describe any and all you find.  The only one I know for sure, is (IF it's Italian) two letters enclosed in a box.  It's a date code used by some/many/all Italian makers.

Great, Marshal Rusty!  You were faster on the "enter" button than me and my post.

I printed a copy of this article the FIRST time I saw it ... but I couldn't find the link to include it here!

Here's the rest of the date codes 'thru 2010:

BU      2004
BZ      2005
CA      2006
CB      2007
CC      2008

Steel Horse, truck went to the body shop at 11 a.m. today. It's now 7:30 p.m. and I ain't heard from them. Last I knew they were looking for a calculator with more numbers! :o He said it would take him the rest of the day just to locate parts.

I busted up a shoulder, aggravated a hip problem I already had and lied to my wife about what actually happened until I got to work. My daughter ( wifes stepdaughter) from Mesa Az. was home for the weekend and I had told her everything after calling the missus. The Missus called daughter and asked if I had called her...............................ooops!  She's daddys girl, she covered up for me real well, till I got home for my beating! ;)

Steel Horse Bailey

She's a good girl!

Hopefully, they'll not find a bigger calculator and have to go easy on ya!  Best of luck, Amigo!   At least yer still talkin' and jokin' a bit - it could've been a LOT worse!

I've had a lot of ... shall we say, "incidents" - in my life, but nothing that put me down for long.  They say the Lord protects little children and fools.  Well, I'm a lot closer to 60 than 6 - so I guess I know where I stand in the scheme of things!  :o  ::)  ;D
