Anyone have a source for already-cast .512 bullets from the Dakota Widowmaker mould? I'm about out, and I just got my new Spencer.

Tuolumne Lawman

I don't have any, but I use the DWM /HRHW mold and don't size them.  That way they don't spin in the case after crimping.

Tuolumne: I don't size them either. I had one of DW's molds with my first Spencer about two years back, and sold the mold along with the rifle. If I hadn't kept a small stash of slugs from that mold, I would be stuck with bullets from my 450-grain mold. Those would leave mighty little room for powder!

Anyone know if Dakota Widowmaker is still selling his moulds? I sure like my new Spencer.

TF: I sent an e-mail to his home addy a while back and didn't hear from him. Tried a PM. We'll see. Hope he is OK.
