Does Ubertis 1876 have plugs in tube

Does the Uberti 1876 replica have a plug in the magazine tube as I read they have a five round law in Italy.  If so how do you remove it?

1892's from Italy have the round limitation and plug.  1876's have no plug.

Hi I have a Armi Sports 92 on order , I had not herd of  these mag plugs. Are they on all Italian imported 92 clones
and do they have plastic mag followers as well. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Judge,
I'm not positive if yours will have the plug since you are in UK.  All the Italian '92's coming to USA have the plug.  Don't know about Taylors, but Cimarron usually removes the plug before shipping to the customer (it's simple, just remove the end cap from the magazine and unscrew the rod (plug) from it.).

They do have a metal follower.

Thanks Abilene I was having kitten's thinking I was going to have to strip down & replace parts on a new gun,
btw it's a 92 short rifle in .44-40. Any thing else I should look out for, not wonting any surprises.

Judge, some of the earlier Armi-Sport '92's were kinda rough feeding.  Later models are darn smooth.  Hope you're getting a later model  ;D

I have a Cimmie 1892 TD in 44WCF.  When I first got it, I could not figure out why the dang thang would only hold 5 rounds.  Pulled the magazine plug and found a steel rod threaded into it, as described by Abilene!  Smoothest out of the box 1892 I have ever seen! ;)
