56-50 Brass

I have been looking at the Starline site and the very high price of 56-50 Spencer brass. I also noticed the .500 Linebaugh brass at less than half the price. Can the .500 Linebaugh be trimmed or altered to 56-50 Spencer? Thanks and have a good one,.....Bad Ramon
