My dad recently bought a model 1872 Cimmeron .38.  He lives far from me so I haven't been able to give it a good look at.  Over the phone he told me he has no idea how to drop the cylinder for cleaning.  From what he told me it is nothing like my Ruger.

I figured this would be the best place to the glean the info he is looking for.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Make sure gun is UNLOADED.
2. Put hammer to half cock.
3. Turn wedge screw to the left until section that is straight is in line with top of wedge.
4. Using a piece of wood, brass or plastic knock wedge out of gun.
5. Pull barrel off gun, then cylinder.

Thanks Fox Creek.
I told him on the phone that here I'd get an answer within 5 minutes.  You beat the clock by one minute and a second to spare  :D
     Love it here.
