1858 Disassembly Instructions

I found a way around removing the mainspring when frequent dissassembly is called for, for example when timing new parts.  To remove the hammer, I roll a 1/4" screw driver shank between the mainspring and the frame.  This relieves the tension and the hammer can be quickly removed, and replaced.
