Howdy Pards,

Some time back I had a Subscription order for the DD .32 Cal 80 grain Big Lube™ bullet molds.  I bought a few extra for inventory.  They're gone now and I have several pards that have expressed an interest in getting one.

LEE charges a $100.00 setup fee for an order of any less than 25.  I hate to put 23 of 'em on the shelf and sell only Two.  I don't have all that much capitol to tie up in a slow moving item.

So, I'm asking if there are enough pards interested in getting a Big Lube™ .32 caliber mold to make up a Subscription order again.

A Subscription order is done like this:
    1. It gets announced everywhere I can place an announcement.
    2. If there is enough interest, the order window "opens for a set period of time"
    3. At the end of the order period the Window closes.
    4. If less than 25 are sold the "setup" fee is divided by all that ordered.
    5. DD orders the molds and pays for the order in full.
    6. We all wait Six months till LEE gets around to making the molds.
    7. DD ships the molds to all the pards that placed orders.

It's a little like a "group" buy, but there is a set time period so that pards that order have a handle on delivery time.

So, what do you all think?  Is there enough interest in the .32 Cal Big Lube™ molds to set up a Subscription order???

Thanks,

What the heck, I'll take one this time. Can't have too many moulds. So what would be the price if we hit 25 moulds?

I'd ask $72 a mold plus setup fee share, if any.  That's $10 less than my current over the counter price for molds kept in stock.

One thing I hate is having the first pard to order have his money tied up the longest.  So, I think I'd do it with plastic and not process the orders until the window closed.  That way all are treated the same.

I've not decided to run the order yet, but if and when I do I'll make all the noise I can get away with so pards that are interested will get the news.  I just published the BLB newsletter and won't do another one until spring or early summer.  That's a good place to put an announcement.

So, let 'er flicker.  Run up the flag and see who salutes it. . . .

WOW, the response is overwhelming! Kinda like my orders for 32's, non-existant.

DD,

Did you get my email regarding the two cavity .45 gammer and 200 gr molds. Do you stock it? I don't want a six cavity right now.
