Thanks.

Dixie Gun Works has replacement pins, or you could have a machinest make one , like I did for an Original Remington Conversion.

I've tried the Dixie Gun Works one, but it's to short.
I believe the model I have is built on the Beals frame and I think it must be longer.

The Original Remmie I have a Pietta cylinder fits perfect ...the others are too short , you might try a Pietta cylinder pin ..VTI gun parts should have them .

Thanks Sundance,
It'll probably pay me to find someone with one and try it for size. I don't want to accumulate a pile of them that don't fit.

Boots I tried the original cylinder in my Pietta to make sure the hole dia was ok ...it is fit like a glove ..My Original is not the Beals frame , it`s larger more like the size of the Pietta Remmie ..The Beals frame is smaller like the Euro Arms Remmie , and the Uberti is somewhere inbetween . The parts Dixie sells seem to be the EuroArms size . I switched to VTI aftering ordering from Dixie and ended up with some small parts that will only fit my Euro Remmie .

Thanks, It does sound as if it'll be O.K. but I think I'll still try one first.
It's expensive to get parts in with the shipping if they don't fit.

Measure your pin (in all directions) and email or PM me with the dimensions. I have some pins ;)
In fact one member recently did me a favor, maybe I can share the fun!

The one I have that doesn't reach measures 3 3/4" on the straight section, but hardly reaches the hole at the back of the frame.

I have no accurate way to measure the width, but all the ones I've tried have been O.K.

Thanks.

Boot I have a few extra pins. Some of them are Pietta. None of them are any longer than the measurement you provided.

Your best bet is going to be having a machinist make you one as Barbarosa suggested.

Good luck!

Thanks, that's saved me a lot of time and expense ordering the different makes.
Maybe I could get a piece welded onto one.

Boots ya got me wondering ...I have one of each make Remmie ..so I did some measureing on all the cylinder pins ...here`s what I came up with ..Pietta and ASM pins are 3 3/4 inches long on the rounded part ...Uberti and Euro Arms are 1/16 of an inch shorter ...looks like if you need a longer pin ..may have to have one made ...I don`t own a Palmetto Remmie ..so not sure about that one . good luck .

Obviously on the OLD MODEL frame there is no "notch" cut for the "winged" part of the cylinder pin like on a new model. This is why the pin is longer.

I know the Perfect :D fix for yer problem!

Sell the pistol to me ;D ;D ;D

You're right of course.
This is my first venture into Remingtons (Derringers not included) so I've got a lot to learn.

I apreciate your generous offer of taking it off my hands, but I think you have enough in your country already.
