We are in Kenya visiting my daughter who is teaching school here. The fighting has lessened here some & the stores are back open for the most part. Hope so since all of my Ruger toys are half a globe from me. The only iron you see here are AK & HK & FN.

We are living with a nice Kikou family about 4+ hours from Nairobi. Well that is 4+ hours is the mitatu does not break down. AND THEY DO!!!! I have now seen broken leaf springs fixed with wet bale twine and inner tube strips. Hell, it works! Even on the safari trails.

I will get the new wanna-be-RATS added to the list in a week.

4+ hours from Nairobi is a good thing at times. My sister lived in Kenya fer a bit. That's all I'z gonna say on this forum. So, be very careful, pard.

We made it back to the States around midnight. Damned glad to be here too.
The "opposition democrat rallyists" (who I'd call fu***n' insurgents or terrorists meownself) have made the country a scary mess. All people over there are on edge because of the election results "rallys".

Wish my daughter was home. We will get her pulled out if this crap goes to the small villages. She does NOT want to come home, though.

BTW: Ain't no one we met over there can own a legal firearm. Even the safari guides.

The onliest guns we say there were in the hands of:
The Provincial & Nairobi cops had FN-FAL's, H&K's.
The Kenya Border Patrol had AK-47's & XM-177's.
Some Army (reserve?) soldiers had H&K's.

No civilian guns to be seen.

And none one me.

We were checked a lot, too. But always treated cordially.
