Use for Deer hide

I was given a large piece of tanned deer hide, Can it be used as holster liner?
I am looking for ideas. What other CAS products can be made from it?

knucklehead

i used some tanned deer hide from tandy leather to make an empty brass bag for a friend of mine.
i used black dyed deer hide, veg tanned cowhide and kangroo lace to sew it all together.
see the pic.

i made it so big that you can put at least 500 38 shells in it.

hope this gives you an idea what you can use it for.
