I see Colt reintroduced the SAA Frontier Six in 44-40 with the etched panel at the SHOT Show for 2008. This marks the first time it has been available since the mid 1970's w/ the run of 2,002 Colt Frontier Centennial models.

PLEASE: no Colt bashing or USFA comparisons. This is just an FYI posting.

Apparently, they are also reintroducing their traditional ejectorless Sheriff's Model 3" and Storekeeper's Model 4". Wouldn't mind having one of those myself. These all seem like cool ideas.

From what I've read, Colt's billing them (the shorties, anyway) as limited production.
Hope that's not just code for "more expensive than ususal."
