Does anyone know when ASM went out of business ?..Just something I have wondered about and can`t find an answer to.
I have a ASM Remmie Proff marked 1999 .. Thinking it may have been one of the last ones they built ...I bought it NIB and the box is marked steel frame EMF...and it isn`t after soaking the grease off the thing was a stainless steel frame , blue barrel and cylinder gun . I just thought maybe it was something they put together at the time of going out of business to get rid of some parts ..or maybe make a nice supprise for me ...lol

I believe you have a model call "Old Silver" it is steel frame... not blue steel, but SS steel...
ASM closed it's doors around 2001..the artisans moved on...some to Chaparral.

Thanks for the info Major ...I was thinking they had quit earlyer .
Odd the box it came in was only marked steel model though ..I`ve been trying to find a mate for it for 2 years now , with no luck at all ...everytime I find one that looks like it , turns out to be nickel plated brass ...Guess I just got lucky on this one ...I sure ain`t complaining .
