OK gents. Anyone have any information they can give me regarding the Sharps of the famous prospector from Tombstone, Arizona Territory? Caliber, model, barrel length and so on? Any info. would be appreciated muchly.

It's supposed to be located at the 'Courthouse Museum', in Tombstone.

I have no idea of the provenance of the piece on display, so contacting their Exhibits Curator may prove fruitful.

There's another photo of him carrying it on his shoulder in M. Venturino's book "Shooting Buffalo Rifles of the Old West". It's uncredited and unnamed but it is clearly him.
