RATS:

I will be on harvest (S/E Nebrasky whitetail) for a few days, but will remotely check in when I can.
It is a reunion of sorts at the -><- Ranch with Dad, cousins & friends.  We kill, butcher, grind & smoke about 10-12 or so "family deer".  And we will have enough venison balogna, sausage, steak & roast for almost a year.
Huntin' with a Super Blackhawk, of course.  Maybe even go "Gunfighter" this year with 2 Supers. 

If some new fellers wanna get RATS-Registered, I will put them in in the same order as they sign up.

When I get the ranch today, I will crank up the main-spring on the old dial-up computer there & try to stay in touch with you guys.

Deer gun season starts a week from Saturday. We are having CWD problems for the last few years. Down by Mt. Horeb, the DNR has virtually eradicated the herd. In quite a few areas of the state, my area of one of them, if you have not shot an antlerless deer in the past two seasons you have to shoot one before you can shoot a buck. I'm a meat hunter so it doesn't matter to me. Handgun hunting is legal. I always carry a pistol and rifle when I hunt. If it is close enough I will use the pistol. Ruger of course.
