Long Johns Wolf

Howdy Gripmaker; my Texas friends thought Long Johns Wolf to be more appropriate since I am wearing these red long johns. So Bootsie was buried but was planned in the first place to be used for internet auctions only, anyway.
To add to the grip irritations and Gripmaker's inventory nightmare: if you measure the grips of 2 1st gen Colt Armies you will be getting different 2 readings. Thats just the way they were made then (in Harford, London and Liege) and that's how they are made today (in Hartford and Italy). I have 2 Uberti BP frame SAAs (see pic) with consecutive S/Ns from 2005 and I exchanged the factory grips with Larry's PU ivory grips: I cannot fix grip one to pistol 2 and vice versa.
The angle where the back strap meets the frame is never the same between 2 pistols (even the right and the left side of one pistol), no is the length and the width of the grips. Therefore, help yourself and Gripmaker by providing tracings of the grip frame, from the right and the left side. Since I am doing that (and I did quite a number of Gripmaker grips on my match pistols...) undersized grip panels were no issue with Larry the Gripmaker... but I needed some time to learn that lesson. Larry always helped me out at no charge, however! He is a good pard, I like to do business with him!
