So anyone on this here wire have experience with this fine fire-arm and caliber?

The one I got coming was made in 1918 so it was made for smokeless - but i plan on shooting holy black in her.

The original design from 1873 was made for black powder.

I'll try to post some pics later.

I drool over both of these revolvers each time that I volunteer at the National WW I Museum at the Liberty Memorial, here in Kansas City.  The second showcase has rifles and revolvers or pistols of the various combatant nations in 1914.

The Swiss Mod. 1873(?) revolver was in the same caliber, 10.4 X 38 as the Vetterli rifle.  I really would like to have one, but don't have the $1600 on hand. >:( >:(  I got my Vetterli back from the gunsmith and it is ready to shoot center fire ctgs.  Now to buy brass, bullets and start shooting.
