Anyone load brass shotshells with APP?   How much do you use?

I've loaded some with APP. I used 4.3cc, but that was probably overkill. I've since gone to Pyrodex, which is about $8 a pound cheaper locally than APP.
Dang them voices have good ideas sometimes!

Consider the APP like BP and use the same volumetric charge. APP is more corrosive to the brass than BP fouling so be sure to rinse them ASAP after firing. I have used everything form 50-80 grs volume and 3/4 to 1 1/8oz shot.

BK, all good info here - App is great with Brass shells.

Just remember the soapy water to dunk them in while shooting for the day.  I have had 0 corrosion issues with APP as long as the spent shells were dunked in a soapy water container after shooting.

I use 4.4 app 2f and same amount of shot.

I would say the key to easy cleaning of your gun afterwards is the use of a fiber wad instead of the plastic wads/shotcups.  I find it easier to clean up the shotgun after shooting my brass shells with app or goex than cleanup with modern shells - due to the lack of plastic residue.

I also have loaded with APP.   I agree load it like you would the real thing.   I use a heaping 1 oz equivalent scoop.
