No one wants rounded corners where the buttplate interfaces, the wrist with the action or anywhere the wood & metal mate up.  Its easy to maintain this on a flat surface by using a wood block, but what do you fellas favor for backing on contoured or rounded surfaces?

One of those flexible blocks made for that, you can get them at any place that sells autobody supplies along with far better rigid blocks than a hunk of wood.
