Interstate sxs shotguns haw do they compare too ttn

Hi Pards
        I was in a Big Five store today, and they had Interstate  sxs shotguns for 249.00 and the Puma 92 for 399.00. My question is how do they compare to TTN , I know the TTN is highly favored, just wondered if anybody has one and what they think of it. They have these guns strapped down so that can't check the action, so there no way to see how smooth they are, the hammers are tied down.

            I guess the hand wrightings on the wall, no one I guess has heard of the Interstate sxs or owns one, so I think  I'll go with the TTN no one seems to have had a bad thing to say about them . Thanks for reading my post anyway....

               I think you're right, you can't mess with success, I'm going to EMF this Saturday 15 th , and I'm going to see if they can order one with the CH and checkering.
               I caught yor post on TTN, and checked out you pictures, you have a really nice collection of firearms

Howdy!

I have an Interstate SXS 12 ga.  I have NOT shot it yet, however, the workmanship is good and functioning (snap caps) seems to work very well.  It is not too tight, opening and closing.  And for the price, it can't be beat.  I also have a TTN 12 ga.  It too works as it is supposed to do.  I guess its a matter of perspective....do you want a Chevy or a Cadillac.....they both get you to the same place on time, just a matter of how much you are willing to pay.

               Thanks for your thoughts on this subject, Thats the reason I did this post , the Interstate sxs I looked at was all strapped up, there was no way to see if it checked out ok or not . the sales  person said they were not allowed to take the strap off, and that customers were always complaning about that. You would think they would change there policy.
               I went ahead and got the TTN sxs it looked and felt good, the action broke open smooth and easy, the hammers were the same way, I could cock both hammers with my thumb, at once, can't beet that. Anyway I hope that Interstate sxs works out for you, it looked like a decent gun.
