I Tell ya Major, wish i'd went that route now instead of the blackpowder and then looking for a conversion cylinder.
Coulda had a conversion model, two cylinders and been in hog heaven.

But in any event, I have a new respect for the Remingtions,,they grow on ya huh ?

And mine shoots like a housefire with RB.

Actually MD.. the ad you link to is dated ... to my knowledge Uberti shelved the two Cyl. Remy. last year.
The Forged Factory Conversion comes with no C&B Cylinder.
This is the Author's test gun, Tuolumne Lawman wrote about in his Gun test column , and traded to me.

If you like I have that article and since it has already been published, I can send it to you.

I have looked at the Remington Conversion in .44-40 as sold by Buffalo Arms (I believe imported by Cimarron) to go with my Henry. From what I can tell the real Remington Conversions in rimfire were in .46 Rimfire, not .44 Henry, but what the hay. I think S&W did the 1869 revolver in .44 Henry Rimfire but since no one does a replica of it....

I have a pair of the newer ones that are the factory conversions. 38 special 7 3/8 barrel with consecutive serial numbers. They are great guns, accurate right out of the box. I would recommend them highly.

Got one in 38 and love it.  Wish the C&B cylinder was available though  :'(  Shoots like a champ and looks really nice.  I wrote a review of it in the gun review section of the forum a week or so ago.

Just bought a pair of them from taylor in .38.  Shot about 200 rounds through them so far, a little filing of the front sight and they are dead on, surprisingly accurate.  Had a minor problem with the ejector rod hanging up on the cylinder, filed it down a bit and good as new.  Nice heavy guns, ordered new grips for them and plan on competing with them this weekend.  I think they go good with my 1866.

What grips did you get ?... I considered Buffalo Brothers , but hey did not have what I wanted ..
so I refinished mine ... as shown in the photo above.
They came out nice , but still I want something more unusual....

I am not sure who made them, ordered them at a gun show and should have them by Friday.  They are white with a bulls head on one side.  I found the stock grips to be slick and with the 7 3/8 barrel a little nose heavy so I wanted a thicker grip to get a better grip on.  I will let you know how they work out.  If I had some talent I would engrave my stock grips....
