Sgt. Eli

Just got a pair of Buffalo Brothers antique ivory grips for my nickled engraved '75. Look great on it but just don't have enough to let me fit them, which has been my curse with this gun. It seems to have a slightly larger frame than any others I have had.

I'll take $50.00 shipped to your door.

Thanks kid but I'd probably still have the same problem. These fit my blued '75's perfect, but are too small for my nickeled gun.

My frame (in the grip area) is large as well. The grips I ordered from Western & Wildlife Wonders were too small. I had to send them back.

Western & Wildlife gives instructions on how to outline your specific gun and they will make them to fit...I got a couple of pairs for my antiqued Remmies and they fit almost perfectly...drop em a line...

I spoke with the owner before the sale and he didn't mention this. Nor did he mention it when I sent them back.  ???

I'm now 0-for-4 with various gripmakers (Western & Wildlife, Tru-Ivory, Gripmaker, & Outlaw Grips). I'm about ready to give up.

Marshal Will Wingam

Due to the way the pistols are made, grips for single actions need to be fitted. If you order grips and they fit without any fiddling, it's simple blind luck. I wouldn't expect them to fit when buying them.

Sadly, my problems have gone far beyond simple fitting issues.  :(

I guess I'll have to fork out the moulah and send the gun to Jim Alaimo or Paul Persinger.
