- - - cased pistol set - - - on the cheap

The other thread about cased sets was getting a bit long.  So I thought I'd start fresh.

I've had requests for better pictures of the cased set of pistols that I made up for "Slipshot Pur Cussin".   So borrowed a digital camera and took some.  Take a look if ya care to at :  Slipshot's Shootin' Irons.

The box had a silver ware set in it.  Got it in a thrift store cheap. Thru the old cheap silver ware away.  Got some brass hardware, cleaned it a bit, put on a coat of varnish with some stain mixed in, lined with with foam and then some fabric.  Came out Ok.  

Wow'd him !   I gave it to him when I gave him his SASS membership.  No good being a member without guns ?   Leather for them was part of it also.  Good shootin', . . . .
