parts interchangeability of Italian clone revovers

Gentlemen, anybody know about internal parts interchange (cyl. stop, hand & spring, and trigger & stop spring) for Italian c&b revolvers?  I have an old ASP Navy '51 that I have to overhaul after years of service, and while there are plenty of sources for Uberti and Pietta parts, this peice is ancient.  DGW carries the parts, but doesn't specify brand (at least not on line).  I wouldn't expect stuff to just drop in; figure lots of filing would be necessary.  Cabelas carries a kit including the parts mentioned plus hammer, trigger, and mainspring for 25 bucks for piettas; which sounds like a real deal.  Don't need the hammer; just the internals.  Any info would be appreciated; this has been a great old gun.
